Accolades Continue to Roll in for the Panthers!

Today, D3 Hoops.com released the All Region Honors and the Panthers were well represented! Head Coach Chris Graves was named South Region Head Coach of the Year while junior forward Zac Richards was named Third Team All Region! Wrapping up an Unbelievable Season!

The season came to an end this past Friday night in Lexington, KY as we fell just short against Wittenberg. However, looking back we have definitely had a season to remember! We wanted to share some of our accomplishments with all of you!

Finished with a Record of 25-3

Finished the Season Ranked 13^th in the Country

Won the SCAC Regular Season Title

Received 1^st Ever NCAA Division III Tournament Birth

Finished in the Top 50 in the Country in Several Statistical Categories out of 405 Teams

5^th in Winning Percentage (92.6)

7^th in Scoring Margin (+15.3)

9^th in 3Pt Percentage (40.1%)

11^th in 3Pt Field Goals Per Game (9.4)

27^th in Field Goal Percentage (47.9%)

32th in Scoring Offense (79.9)

3 All Conference Players, Defensive Player of the Year, and Head Coach of the Year in the SCAC

1 Academic All- Region Member

NCAA Selection Show Is Today!

Today at 11 AM CST, the NCAA will release the Tournament Field. The direct link is not up yet but the page where the link will be is available at NCAA.com and we wanted to make it available for you so here it is.

When it is available, there will be a small movie camera icon next to Division III Men's Basketball. I would expect it to be available within the next hour or so.

Panthers Take Home Many Conference Post Season Awards

We had a tough game yesterday but there was some good news that came out. The SCAC released their post season awards and honors and your Birmingham Southern Panthers received the most honors out of any other team in the conference! Head Coach Chris Graves was named the SCAC Coach of the Year as our team went 15-1 in conference and 24-1 overall. Junior guard Blaise White was named Defensive Player of the Year as well as named All-Conference Honorable Mention. Senior guard Jasen Jonus and Junior guard Kevin Kegarise were named Second Team All-Conference while Junior foward Zac Richards was named First Team All-Conference!
