Your BSC Panthers are going dancing! We are going to play at 5:30 PM on Friday in Lexington, KY against Wittenberg University out of Springfield, Ohio. Below is the reaction from our guys watching the Selection Show in the locker room as well as the entire DIII Bracket.

NCAA Selection Show Is Today!

Today at 11 AM CST, the NCAA will release the Tournament Field. The direct link is not up yet but the page where the link will be is available at NCAA.com and we wanted to make it available for you so here it is.

When it is available, there will be a small movie camera icon next to Division III Men's Basketball. I would expect it to be available within the next hour or so.

Panthers Take Home Many Conference Post Season Awards

We had a tough game yesterday but there was some good news that came out. The SCAC released their post season awards and honors and your Birmingham Southern Panthers received the most honors out of any other team in the conference! Head Coach Chris Graves was named the SCAC Coach of the Year as our team went 15-1 in conference and 24-1 overall. Junior guard Blaise White was named Defensive Player of the Year as well as named All-Conference Honorable Mention. Senior guard Jasen Jonus and Junior guard Kevin Kegarise were named Second Team All-Conference while Junior foward Zac Richards was named First Team All-Conference! The Division III Men's Basketball National Tournament Selection Show will be tomorrow at 11 AM. When we have the website address, it will be posted on here as soon as possible.

SCAC Tournament Game Info and Previews

Today we start the SCAC Basketball Tournament here at Birmingham Southern! The Men's team tips at 1PM in Bill Battle Coliseum while the Women tip at 6PM at Homewood  High School. We would love for everyone to come out and catch the game live but if they can not, we wanted to provide you with the links to follow the action where ever you may be. SCAC Conference Tournament is Just Around the Corner

The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Basketball Tournament is going to be held on our campus between February 24-26. We have clinched the number one seed in the East and know that we will play University of Dallas from the West at 1 PM on Friday. Every other spot in the tournament will be determined over this weekend. All games at the tournament will have free admission! If you would like more information about the tournament, click the link provided below. Hope to not only see you next weekend, but also this weekend as we wrap up the regular season vs Oglethorpe on Saturday at 5 PM CST! Go Panthers!

BSC Ranked #3 in First Regional Ranking

The first NCAA Regional Rankings were released yesterday for Division III and Birmingham Southern was ranked # 3 in the South Region.
